In the Transactions module of HiPay Console, the results in the list of transactions are based on the last two years by default.
When searching or filtering results (e.g., by right-clicking on “Look up” or “Exclude”, sorting a column, filtering in a column, doing an advanced search for any field, adding or removing a column, etc.), an indication that the results are based on the last two years is displayed at the top left of your screen.
Next to it, a “View all” link allows you to lift this limitation and view all transactions. As long as you stay in the Transactions module, the results are no longer restricted.
If you navigate to another module or leave HiPay Console and sign back in, the default display based on the last two years of transactions applies again.
Please note
- If you use a filter such as a “date” or “period” in the Transactions module, the two-year limitation never applies: you will see the transactions for the selected period.
- This limitation only affects the Transactions module. Other modules are not impacted.
- Widgets are not impacted: calculations are based on the period you have selected for the widget (in the first place) or the entire dashboard (in the second place).
But
- Calculations on “amount” columns in the Transactions module are impacted. As they are based on displayed results, if you are limited to the last two years, calculations will be based on these data.
Transaction exports
Exports of the Transactions module results are based on the results that are displayed. Therefore, if you are viewing two years of data, when you click on “Export” or “Export by email”, a configuration pop-up informs you that you are about to export two years of data.
If you have lifted the two-year limitation, the export configuration pop-up does not mention anything special: your filtered results will be exported.
Transaction exports through our Console API are not impacted.
