This type of field consists of 3 different fields:
- the first one, on the left, preceded by theicon, is a period selector,
- the second one indicates the start date (“from”),
- the third one indicates the end date (“to”).
Preset periods
The period selector suggests 10 PRESET PERIODS. Each period is accompanied by an informative text on the right that enables you to understand precisely which period it is.

Sliding periods
In addition to preset and custom periods, you can also choose a sliding period, among 4 possibilities:
- 24 hours
- 7 days
- 30 days
- 365 days
Example (for Tuesday 18/05/21 at 10:50 a.m.):
- 24 hours: from 10:50 a.m. yesterday to now
- 7 days: from Tuesday 11/05/21 to now
- 30 days: from Sunday 18/04/21 to now
- 365 days: from Tuesday 18/05/20 to now
When clicking on a sliding period, the fields “From” and “to” are automatically filled in with the start and the end dates. Please note that this sliding date filter, generated once the period is selected, does not allow navigating through time periods like with preset periods.
PLEASE NOTE Dates are limited in time: Data remain in the HiPay Console for 5 years in order to comply with the GDPR European standard. Furthermore, only dates including transactions can be selected. |
When you launch the search, results are displayed in a table, and the date filter appears in a filter chip above the results.
PLEASE NOTE You can navigate through time periods by clicking on the arrows surrounding the exact period dates. For a customized date, sliding periods are used, which means that there is the same number of days in the previous period.
Example Select the period from Friday 21 July to Monday 21 August, i.e. 31 days. Click on the left arrow, results change. The table displays those of the previous period, from Wednesday 19 June to Friday 20 July, i.e. 31 days.
For the “previous” preset periods, here is how it works:
For the “current” preset periods (week, month, quarter and current year), the previous period is based on the start day + the duration.
Example Select the current week, from Monday 12 November to today, Thursday 15 November, i.e. 4 days. Click on the left arrow. The new period goes from Monday 5 to Thursday 8 November, i.e. 4 days, which is the same period, on the previous week.
The button on the left of the filter chip enables you to go back to the initial setup. |
To remove this filter, simply click on the Delete icon on the right.
Please note that search results are based on the configured time zone (which is by default the time zone of the HiPay server).
