-           A copy of front and back sides of a valid identification document (ID card or passport) of the legal representative

-           Document certifying the function and the name of the legal representative of the association

-           Publication in the dedicated register (or equivalent) or a receipt of the registration of the association issued by public authorities

-           A copy of the association statutes

-           Bank account identification document (RIB/IBAN) in the name of the association

A document certifying the function and the name of the legal representative of the association is required to check the accuracy of the information provided.

Publication in the dedicated register

In France, in order for associations to acquire legal personality and legal capacity, their creation must be announced in the Journal Officiel des Associations et Fondations d’Entreprises (JOAFE).

Outside of French territory, associations must provide us with the equivalent information.

Association statutes recap its details (name, head office, corporate purpose, etc.) as well as its operating modes.

Bank account identification document (RIB/IBAN) in the name of the association

The bank account to which collected funds will be allocated must be in the name of the association.

A bank account identification document (RIB/IBAN) is required to prove the existence of the account, check the identity of its holder and provide the bank information necessary to transfer money.

As a rule, the bank account must have been opened in an institution established in the country where the seller is located.
