Once your user account has been activated (click here for more details), you can access HiPay Console.
To do so, go to the following URL: https://console.hipay.com/login.
Fill in the email address linked to your user account and the password you created upon the activation of your account, then click on “SIGN IN”.
If you cannot sign in:
- make sure you are using the correct email address,
- make sure your password is not incorrect or expired (see the article “Resetting your HiPay Console user account”),
- make sure your account has not been locked (see the article “Unlocking your HiPay Console user account”).
For security reasons, you must change your password regularly. Three days, then one day before it expires, we will email you a reminder to invite you to change it.
As of February 14, 2022, within the framework of PSD2, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) becomes mandatory to sign in to HiPay Console. This entails using at least two authentication factors.
- 1st factor: email address and password,
- 2nd factor, to be chosen from the following methods:
- Google Authenticator app,
- Code sent by SMS,
- Code sent by Voice call,
- Okta Verify app,
- FIDO2.
After this first step to sign in with your email address/password, a second step is now required with a mandatory 2nd authentication factor.
Setting up your method for the 2nd factor:
On first login after Strong Customer Authentication has been activated, each user must choose and set up the method they want to use as their 2nd factor to access HiPay Console.
- Once you have filled in your email address/password and clicked on “SIGN IN”, all the available methods as 2nd factor are displayed.
- Choose the one you want to set up and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once setup is complete, for subsequent logins:
The 2nd factor chosen previously is then automatically used. The other methods are no longer displayed.
Please note: If you want to change your 2nd authentication factor, you need to submit a request to reset your authentication preferences. The next time you sign in, the list of all the available methods will be displayed again.
Information on the methods available for the 2nd factor:
To set up each method, please follow the detailed on-screen instructions in HiPay Console.
Here is some additional information on each method to help you choose the one that suits your needs.
- Google Authenticator app
To set up this method, download the Google Authenticator app from the App Store (on iPhone and iPad) or the Google Play Store (on Android). Once the app is downloaded, scan the QR code displayed on your screen in HiPay Console with your smartphone. The app generates a 6-digit code: enter it directly in HiPay Console. Setup is complete.
For subsequent logins, once you have filled in your email address/password and clicked on “SIGN IN”, you can open the Google Authenticator app directly to get the 6-digit code. Enter it in HiPay Console to sign in.
- Code sent by SMS
To set up this method, we invite you to fill in a mobile phone number. You will then receive an SMS message with a code you need to enter and validate in HiPay Console to set up this method for your 2nd authentication factor.
For subsequent logins, once you have filled in your email address/password and clicked on “SIGN IN”, an SMS code will be sent directly to the phone number previously filled in.
Please note: If your mobile phone number has changed, you need to submit a request to reset your authentication preferences. You will then have to set up the method again with your new phone number.
- Code sent by Voice call
To set up this method, we invite you to fill in a phone number. You will then receive a voice call from a robot that will dictate a code. Enter it and validate it in HiPay Console to set up this method for your 2nd authentication factor.
For subsequent logins, once you have filled in your email address/password and clicked on “SIGN IN”, you will directly receive the voice call on the phone number previously filled in.
Please note: If your phone number has changed, you need to submit a request to reset your authentication preferences. You will then have to set up the method again with your new phone number.
- Okta Verify app
To set up this method, download the Okta Verify app from the App Store (on iPhone and iPad) or the Google Play Store (on Android). Once the app is downloaded, scan the QR code displayed on your screen in HiPay Console with your smartphone. The app generates a 6-digit code: enter it directly in HiPay Console. Setup is complete.
For subsequent logins, once you have filled in your email address/password and clicked on “SIGN IN”, you can open the Okta Verify app directly to get the 6-digit code. Enter it in HiPay Console to sign in.
Okta Verify allows you to receive a push notification instead of a 6-digit code. This can be set up directly in the Okta Verify app.
